How to Relaunch Officely to Your Team

#1 Understand What Your New Office Goals Are

Before officially re-launching Officely to your team, it's important to take a step back and think about what your new office goals are. 

What are you hoping to achieve by using Officely? Are there any specific pain points or challenges that you are trying to address?

Common goals we hear about from our customers are:

• To make it as easy as possible for the team to see who’s in the office
• To have a better understanding of when and why people come into the office
• To track attendance trends based on teams and offices
• To optimize office space based on reliable data on office usage

By identifying your goals upfront, you'll be better equipped to communicate the benefits of Officely to your team and share the features you think will be most beneficial to achieve your goal.

#2 Find Out What Went Wrong Previously

The next step is to gather feedback from your team. You need to understand why your Officely launch was unsuccessful the first time.

Could it be that there wasn’t enough awareness of the app? Or did your team think it was simply for desk booking? 

To find out more, you can by sending out a message on your company's Slack channel or by conducting a survey. 

The goal is to get a sense of what your employees do and don't like about their hybrid work environment, and to identify how Officely helps to answer these problems.

#3 Explain Officely’s Benefits and Set Clear Expectations Around Usage 

Once you've gathered feedback from your team, it's important to use this in your explanation of Officely and its benefits.

For senior leadership, this may involve revisiting the goals that you identified in step one, and showing how Officely can help you achieve those goals. 

For the wider team, this may also include listing out the clear benefits of Officely and how it will help them with the issues previously identified.

By strategizing your relaunch to different teams and their pain points, you can make them feel heard and help them to recognize the value in downloading and using Officely.

#4 Reinvite Your Team and Follow-Up on Downloads

So you’ve reshared the app and you’ve made it clear that Officely needs to be downloaded.

The next step is to re-invite everyone to Officely and make sure that your whole company has access to it. 

You could share the app on a Slack channel or set up a meeting for people to attend. Whichever you choose, make sure to provide clear directions on how to download and install the app.

It’s also a great idea to set an end date for employees to have downloaded the app by. After this date, you can then find and send new invites to those who are yet to download Officely.

To do this, you simply need to use our Resend Invitations feature.

Head to Officely Insights, and If your coworker has a Send or Resend Invite button next to their name they have not downloaded the Officely app. 

By clicking on this button, they’ll be invited once again to get started.

#5 Encourage Feature Usage Across the Whole Team

Finally, it's important to encourage feature usage across your team.

If you’re not currently using the following features, the chances are you’re not using Officely to its full potential.

Many of these features self-promote the app, which in turn increases adoption rates and will help with your relaunch.

⭐️ Favorite Coworkers: Makes it easier to see when those you care about most have booked in by putting them at the top of each day in Officely, and sending you notifications if you opt-in.

Use Your Company Goals To Successfully Relaunch Officely

After failing to launch a tool, it’s important to use a feedback and goal-based strategy to ensure it doesn’t happen again. 

Use your understanding of what went well and your company's reasons for downloading Officely in the first place to help inform your strategy.
